Between the time we recorded these songs and now, it seems the world has gotten darker and more dystopian. I find myself wishing I'd written some of these songs years ago, with the vain notion that maybe things wouldn’t have gotten so bad.

But here we are.

The songs on this album protest the darkness. Protest the greed. Protest the impunity of the rich and powerful. As we finished this album, a voice kept coming back to us, challenging us to help each other to the very end. We don't take lightly that these were Alex Pretti's last words.

So we are asking you: "Are You OK?"
